Data collected and what it is used for
This policy covers the marketing pages and the user panel at vpnuj.com. Providing an international route subscription requires a small amount of necessary data; the categories below list what is actually processed and what each item is used for, and nothing outside that list is collected.
| Data category | What it contains | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Account data | Username, password hash, plan status and expiry date | Identify the account, activate and renew routes |
| Order and payment records | Plan name, amount, payment method, order number, payment result and time | Activate plans, reconcile accounts, process refunds |
| Visit statistics | Page views, referral source, device type and browser version | Judge page usability and content quality |
| Connection metadata | Route used, session start and end time, traffic counter for this session | Billing and troubleshooting |
Registration needs only a username and a password; no email address is required. If a user chooses to leave contact details in a ticket, that information is used solely to answer that request and never for marketing.
No-logs stance and connection logs
VPNUJ keeps no logs: it does not record which websites a user visits, and does not store DNS query contents, destination addresses, page contents or communication contents.
A connection produces a small amount of necessary metadata, namely the route used, the session start and end time, and the traffic counter for that session. This data is handled on a minimisation basis, used for billing and troubleshooting, never used to analyse browsing behaviour, and never provided to outside parties.
Retention: the traffic counters needed for billing are kept for the corresponding billing period, after which only an aggregated usage figure remains; session-level temporary data is not retained once the connection ends. The system does not build user behaviour profiles that could be reviewed after the fact.
Cookies and local storage
This site uses no third-party advertising cookies and loads no cross-site tracking scripts. Browser local storage serves only two purposes:
- Sign-in state: held in browser local storage so the user panel does not ask for credentials on every visit. It expires on sign-out or when browser data is cleared, after which the username and password must be entered again.
- Interface preferences: remembers the last selected language and a few display options, with no account information included.
Visit statistics are self-hosted on this site and record aggregated page views only; no identifier that could recognise an individual over time is written. Users can clear cookies and local storage in browser settings; after clearing, sign-in is required again, while purchased plans and order records are unaffected.
Payment processing by third parties
Payment is completed through third-party channels, currently Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. VPNUJ neither touches nor stores card numbers, payment passwords or full payment credentials; what a channel returns is limited to the order number, amount and payment result, used to activate the plan and to verify after-sales requests.
Information handled by a channel within its own systems is subject to that channel's privacy terms. For refunds, the service checks order records together with the channel and will not ask users to submit material unrelated to the refund.
Data retention, deletion and account closure
Account data is kept for as long as the account exists. Order and payment records are kept for the period needed to reconcile with the payment channel and handle refunds, then deleted or anonymised.
Users can open a ticket in the user panel to request account closure. After closure, account details and subscription configurations are taken out of use and deleted, and subscription links stop working. Requests to review, correct or export account data are likewise made by ticket, and the service acts once account ownership has been verified.
Policy updates and contact
When this policy is updated, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes to data scope or to the way data is used are described in a site announcement, together with the effective date; continuing to use the service after a change takes effect is taken as acceptance of the updated policy.
Questions about this privacy policy, or requests to exercise rights over personal data, can be submitted through the ticket in the user panel. The ticket entry sits in the sidebar after sign-in, and the service replies in the order requests are received.
